ASCEND TO SERENITY WHERE YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS

Normally we fly from Kathmandu to Gongar airport (Tibet). It is around 1:15 minute flight duration. The views of snow capped mountains from the flights are scenic, the world highest mountain is just below your airbus. Then we drive for around 65 km to the main capital city of Lhasa. We check into Hotel. We will take rest for acclimatization. We spend two more days sightseeing in Lhasa before we start cycling, we visit Sera monastery, Derpung Monastery, Jokhang temple, Barkhor market and not to be missed the Potala Palace with the local guide from Tibet. We cycle to Gyantse and then to Shigatse.

Here we visit second largest monastery, Toshilhumpo. Then we cycle to Tingri and head to Rongbuk Monastery (4920m) which is close to Everest base camp. Next morning we will explore north Everest base camp in Tibet side which is 5202m high from the sea level. After exploring the base camp and Rongbuk we head back to Tingri-Nyalam-Zangbu. We finally cross friendship bridge and reach Kodari, Nepal. We cycle through greenery and follow Bhote Koshi river.

1Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu (1337m.)

Fly to Gongar airport

Upon breakfast, we'll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Gonggar. Upon arrival, we'll facilitate your transfer to a hotel in Lhasa (3650m). Enjoy a day of rest and relaxation at the hotel. Short, sweet, and ready for the adventures that await in the mystical city of Lhasa.

4Day 4
Guided tour in Lhasa by Mini bus (3650m)
